Red Garlic Bistro Cafe

image

It was a tiring day and we went to Red Garlic for a late dinner. The items on the menu was so varied that it gave my indecisive self extra time to decide what to order. But my tummy had to eat so I decided to have salmon.

Alaskan Salmon (Php 435). It is fresh raw Norwegian Salmon, crabstick, rock shrimp, deep fried and topped with mango salsa. It was a big bite! One piece couldn’t make it into my mouth so I had to bite half of it which made the maki fall apart. I wish they made it smaller so that it would fit. Sizes aside, it was delicious! The flavors blended perfectly and there were a lot of textures that made you want to have some more.

Tequilla Lime Barbeque Beef Ribs (Php 550, half slab). Definitely fall-off-the-bone ribs. I loved that it was flavorful. I started eating this using my utensils because I didn’t want to soil my fingers. Then I thought, finger food is finger food. There is just something about eating food with your hands that makes it more delicious. Maybe it’s the caveman in all of us. Who knows?

(Pardon the bad angle of picture-taking.)

Cajun Style Baby Back Ribs (Php 455). The meat here was more tough than the barbeque beef ribs. And the meat didn’t fall off the bone. It tasted good though. The rice came in a pyramid which is cute. It tasted very good. I loved their rice!

All in all, the food tasted good. The water glasses were wayward, which was interesting. The ambiance was inviting and comforting. A place to eat, chat, and eat some more.
